VoIPCode.org is a specialist consultancy practice set up by Peter Cox to provide security advice and vulnerability assessment services for VoIP installations.
Peter Cox has over 25 years experience in the design and implementation of IP networks and applications and for the past 15 years has specialised in IP security. Peter was a co-founder of Borderware Technologies Inc, a vendor of application level security products and appliances. At Borderware, Peter successfully ran the International business covering Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. In addition, Peter successfully navigated Borderware's products through 3 Common Criteria EAL4 certifications, achieving 2 notable firsts; the first Firewall and the first email security appliance to pass this level of certification.
For the past two years, Peter has specialised in VoIP security researching vulnerabilities in standards based and proprietary VoIP systems. Peter has recently left Borderware to concentrate on further research into VoIP security.
Previous consultancy projects include a detailed VoIP security analysis for a European National Telco, a call-centre monitoring system and a number of defence related projects.
